Wonderful weekends

At Google, we discovered most people want to experience local events and restaurants in their home towns. Searches for activities usually ended with two key words: "near me". Our new search campaign, "With a little help from Google" showed everyone how to have a wonderful weekend right here at home, with Google.

We partnered with local businesses to give away free baseball tickets, restaurant vouchers,
and museum entry all around the Chicago area. 

This was the highest attended Google event in history.
